The American Express 2023 odds, choices, and field: Surprising PGA forecasts from a model that has correctly predicted eight major championships
Over the years, Andrew Landry has seen great success in The American Express golf competition. In reality, Landry took first place in the standings in 2020
and finished second in same competition in 2018. Landry might find himself back in the mix this week at the 2023 American Express
which begins on Thursday, January, with three courses in La Quinta, California.
Landry has two PGA Tour victories, but the most recent 2023
American Express odds have him pegged as a gigantic +28000 longshot. On the PGA odds board, Jon Rahm is the +550 favourite, followed by Patrick Cantlay (+950), Scottie Scheffler (+1100)
and Tony Finau (+1500). Check out SportsLine's computer model's expected leaderboard and golf predictions before locking in your 2023 American Express picks.
Since the PGA Tour returned in June of 2020, SportsLine's proprietary model, developed by DFS specialist Mike McClure, has been scorching hot.
In reality, the model has been winning tournament after tournament and is up about $9,500 on its best bets from the restart.
In accordance with McClure's estimate, Jon Rahm (+800) would win the 2023 Sentry Tournament of Champions.
The model made J.T. Poston one of its top picks to win the John Deere Classic in 2022. For the entire tournament, McClure's best bets returned nearly $1,100, and that wager hit at +5500.
