Talor Gooch won the 2023 Rocket Mortgage Classic, which came to an end today. Gooch, who was competing in the Rocket Mortgage Classic for the first time

fired a final-round 66 to finish at 15-under par, two shots ahead of Scottie Scheffler, who came in second

He then shot a second-round 68 and a third-round 66 to move into a two-stroke lead going into the final round

In the final round, Gooch kept the pace going by recording four birdies on the front nine to widen his lead. He added a further birdie on the sixteenth hole
